Who we are

What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the quote form, call, text or email, we receive your name, phone number, email address, city and whatever you tell us about the job — including any photos you send.
- Technical information. Standard web server and analytics data such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type and referring site. This is aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
What we do with it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, provide a quote, schedule and carry out work, invoice you, and keep records for tax and warranty purposes. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
We may share information with service providers who help us operate — for example a web host, a form-handling service, or payment processors — and only to the extent needed for them to do that job.
Text messages and calls
If you contact us by phone or text, we will reply the same way. We do not add you to a marketing list and we do not send bulk promotional messages. Standard carrier rates apply to any messages you send or receive.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only what is needed to function. If web analytics are enabled, they are used to understand which pages are useful and how people find the site — not to build a profile of you. You can block cookies in your browser without breaking the site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted. Job records and invoices are kept as long as required for tax, accounting and warranty purposes.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@handydaddy.co and we will action it. Deleting records tied to completed work may be limited by our legal record-keeping obligations.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect the information you send. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal or financial details through the contact form.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
