Junk Removal & Minor Demolition
Clearing out a garage, a rental turnover or a relative’s house is the kind of job that sits on a to-do list for a year because it needs a truck, a strong back and a free Saturday.
I do clear-outs, single-item removals, and the small demolition that comes before a renovation — old vanities, built-ins, non-structural partition walls, tired decking, sheds.
What's included
- Furniture, appliances, mattresses and general household junk removed
- Garage, attic, shed and storage-unit clear-outs
- Non-structural demolition with the floors and surrounding surfaces protected
- Debris bagged, loaded and taken to the correct disposal facility
- Anything reusable set aside for donation instead of landfill if you prefer
- Space swept and left ready for the next trade
What can’t go in a truck
Paint, solvents, pesticides, motor oil, propane tanks, car batteries and electronics all have specific disposal routes in Broward, Palm Beach and north Miami-Dade and can’t legally go in with general waste. I’ll separate those out and tell you where they need to go rather than quietly dumping them.
Non-structural only
Partition walls, cabinetry, vanities, closet build-outs and old decking are fair game. Anything load-bearing, anything involving the roof, and anything in a pre-1980 building where the material might contain asbestos stops until it has been assessed properly. That isn’t caution for its own sake — it’s the difference between a demo job and a health hazard.
Turnovers and estate clear-outs
These are almost always emotional and time-pressured. I work to a plan you set — what stays, what goes, what gets donated — and I don’t make judgement calls on your behalf about what matters.

Usually, depending on volume. Send photos and I’ll tell you whether it’s one load or two.
Can you demo my kitchen before the remodel?
Cabinetry, countertops and non-structural elements yes. Anything touching plumbing, gas or load-bearing structure needs the licensed trades.
What happens to the stuff?
Usable items to donation where you want that, recyclables separated, the rest to a licensed transfer station.
